I’m… Dreaming… Of a
galaxy far, far away
from the universe
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
This haiku, and the portrait that goes with it, are in memory of Carrie Fisher. She played the part of Princess Leia in Star Wars Episodes 4-6 (General Organa in Episode 7). She died at the age of 60 on December 27th of this past year.
I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
