Eight Out Of Ten

written by: Troy DeFrates

The judges prepared for the leap
One score to keep
The buck is tense
Facing the fence

In one effortless leap he flies
Taking one try
Barbed wire can cut
Feeling the rut

The buck knows well how to perform
Judged on his form
For the win
Eight out of ten
