Epiphany

I’ve had an epiphany
That my life is MINE to live
What others do isn’t my concern
Or my worry
It shouldn’t be anyway
I can be myself, authentically me
I can lead my life my way
Even though most in my current life will not get it
OR understand it
They even refuse to accept it. And me
In the end, my epiphany saved me
Trans man, lover of words, adventure seeker, peace talker, I love life now. I speak out rather than stay silent. I educate people. I help people. And I am always on the hunt to be a better person.
