Footnote at A Sanitarium

written by: James Gabriel

@James_Gabriel1

once dried out
now drunk
he fell
into the pool
at the sanitarium
while undergoing
treatment to cure
his alcoholism

too drunk
to swim
he drowned
now gossip
that the residents
talk over
while sunbathing

until
his ex-wife
marries an actor
of note
his demise
now a footnote
to a biography
