Freedom

written by: Seorin Kae

the small fragments
of the fragile areas in life
humble me to realize
how little prayers
for little miracles
help me to maintain
some fraction of my sanity

the loneliness lurking
in the gloomy corners
of what shapes my anxieties
are only partly cloudy moments

and in these shouts for freedom
from the cavities in my heart
always growing
consuming more each second
breaking down the trust

I find a woman
standing firm
raising her hands as a shield
believing
that there is hope

all the clouds
all the darkness
in her fragile heart
will dissolve

and her hopes
and prayers for miracles
though broken in some places
will not be crushed

I am a student(MA) and a teacher with a busy schedule, but a lot of thoughts and sentiment I would like to share.
Through my works I want to capture the beauty we so often observe but don't always appreciate . I want to sketch the heart of the inner being of mankind and shed light in the different colors of love that we don't have names for.
