Fright Fight

An original poem

by Deborah Jane

Hair stands on end -

oh what a fright

Unsteady heartbeat -

no end in sight

Churning and burning -

horrible plight

Mind playing tricks -

loss of might

Ready the wings -

prepare the flight

Rely on the soul -

win the fight
