Hey Veronica
Wanna head out to the movies
Tonight? I'll pay for your ticket

If you're busy,
I understand, it was my fault to
Invite you so last minute

Is it fine if we let it go?
I knew you'd say no

'Cause sometimes love is being
Quiet at the dinner table
Shortly after working nine to five
Doesn't have to be shown kissing
Lying on the couch
While Sinatra plays throughout the night
Finding time for each other in our crazy lives

It's been a long day
Why don't we hit the lights?
Set the alarm for five in the morning

No time to light the candles
And wear our best to bed
How about tomorrow night instead?

Is it fine if we let it go?
You knew I'd say no

'Cause sometimes love is being
Quiet at the dinner table
Shortly after working nine to five
Doesn't have to be shown kissing
Lying on the couch
While Sinatra plays throughout the night
It's finding time for each other in our crazy lives

'Cause sometimes love is being
Quiet at the dinner table
Shortly after working nine to five
Doesn't have to be shown kissing
Lying on the couch
While Sinatra plays throughout the night
It's finding time for each other in our crazy lives
