She spoke
life’s seasons
the leaves
she gave birth to
and said farewell
the fruit of roots
sunbeams and water
to catch the gold
on covering green
she spoke faded time
and ongoing future
she whispered blossom
and dream was I,
I'm a Dutch poet (and an actuary) who once in a while tries to write poetry in English.
I love writing next to pictures of art.
