Indian Writing

written by: Sunny Rana

Oh, what should this heart say?
Who’ll hear it in this noise of the crowd anyway?
Maybe, the voice is not too strong,
or maybe this crowd doesn’t like the voice of my heart.
Noise passed by,
Without being heard.
Your consent to be together
Of which I dreamt,
It got scattered in the roar of the crowd,
Could not stay steady on our path.
That moment got lost.
Neither could I be of the crowd
Nor could I voice my heart’s desire.
Alone in the crowd
I got lost.

Indian Writing
