In camouflage you sat rugged, forlorn, distant, unseen
Your pain palpable
I watched helpless, train lines between as your companion drops to his knees and wraps you in his arms.
My heart broke a little more, silence followed, for a moment time stood still and the world greedily took in a first breath.
You caught my eye, a brief smile and understanding passed between us.
You felt my pain as I felt yours.
For you dear Brothers, I do not know you but think about you often and wish you well.
