Snowflakes fall
a splendid sight
A hush descends upon
the land tonight
Burgeoning hearts
spill with delight
Roaring fires
cups of cheer
Caroler’s voices
far and near
Boughs of holly
mistletoe
Hearth and home
bask in the glow
Piney scents
perfume the air
Expectation
fills the air
Silver and gold
frost and cold
Senses heighten
in young and old
Thoughts of peace
joy and love
