Much More

Morning shines on my neutered face
Drowsy skin eyes full of disgrace
A glimmer points toward that direction
The feet follow with limited intention

A station where time melts away
Like Dali’s persistence of memory gone astray
Drifted in a cesspool of conceited graces
Survived by tolerance endured by faces

Morning blows my hair and calmness
Into my right eye it touches madness
I have had my shares of silence
a gasping breath of throbbing resistance

all these ticks are hardly lasting
they test you with repeated glancing
their shadows of guilt chastising
with malicious eyelashes secretly inviting

Morning awakening spirit of the sky
Be kind to me today I do not mean to pry
For your light is my lifting force
& you must live forever!
