My nose is red
My face is sore
My beauty – crumpled
on the floor
Mascara hurts
my baggy eyes
My lips are chapped
There’s no disguise
My hair is greasy
frizzy flakes
This is a sick day
No mistake!
I'm 41 years old. Mother of 2 from Waterford, Ireland. I work full-time as a Clerical Officer. I love to write poetry, micropoetry and short stories when I have time.
