  1. Where, do you hail from?

I was born in Hutchinson, Kansas where I lived until I was 11. My family relocated to Rockledge, Florida in 1983. I have been here ever since.

  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

The close proximity to the beach and all of the attractions in the surrounding area. We are 45 minutes from Orlando and there is so much to do there.  But my favorite place is being at home with my husband. I like to putter around the house doing a little of this and a little of that. Wherever my mood takes me. I don’t like being on a schedule. I like to mosey too much.

  1. What turns you on creatively?

Music, art, emotions, words, a pretty landscape… just about anything can do it. Whatever makes me feel something; good or bad.  Sometimes it results in a poem and other times in a painting.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

Plethora.
I have always loved it. As for using it in a poetic sentence, I just happen to be working on something that includes it.

Life spinning out of control
as juggled balls get dropped.
A plethora of stressers wreak havoc
and my bubble of joy gets popped.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

I have several but I will go with bad grammar. It drives me crazy when I see misspelled words, lack of punctuation, etc. When we write something, whether it is an email, letter or a job application, what you write and how you write it is a reflection of you. It has to be done right. When I was doing online dating, I would cringe at the messages and profiles I viewed. The grammar was horrific and quite a turn off.

  1. What defines AngelFace44?

I am driven to excel in my career which I have worked at for 27 years. It is demanding, challenging and I work a lot of hours. But I live for the time when I can be with my husband, Paulo. We have been married a little over a year and I have never been happier or more creative. Paulo inspires me. As long as we are together, all is right with the world.
