STAIRWAY

written by: M.H. Emon

At the age of five
Field and running were my hive
Mom was my mentor
I was the king

At the age of  fifteen
School and friend were my keen
Mom was my mentor
I was the king

At the age of  twenty
Love her was my only tendency
I was my mentor
I was the king, she was the Queen

At the age of twenty-five
Imaginary kingdom deprived
I was my mentor
I was the king

At the age of thirty
Career, success, and money filled up my property
I was my and their mentor

At the age of forty
God filled my life with happiness
I was my and their mentor
Kingdom complete

At the age of sixty
The heart wanted to escape at five
Soul wanted to fly at fifteen
No kingdom, no mentor, O mother!

At the age of seventy
Imagination is my only company
Mother, I want refuge in your womb
But I'm hearing the bells, it's time to go home.
