The Day Has Turned

written by: Aaron McMillan

Clouds fly over in a ferocious speed,

Winds whistle, through the trees,

Mist descends, to the ground,

My eyes are now closed, I can no longer see.

Broken branches stop me in my path,

Flooded ground sink my feet, it’s hard to take a step,

There is no way I’ll get out of this mess,

Throwing everything at me, nature have you forsaken me?

You will not be happy until I bleed.
