The Power Of The Skies

The Power of the Skies

Wings grew out of me
When I heard the skies boom out
To abide you have been
To obey you have been
Now rewarded shall you be
So,
Speak,
What do you desire?

Wings grew out of me
Flowers bloomed in my heart
Rivers flew from my soul
And a whole orchestra started playing in me!

What did I desire the most?
Was it about self-fulfillment?
Was it about love?
Was it about money?
Was it about fame?
Was it about success?
Pray,
I opened my mouth
And croaked out,
I desire to have my soul saved
I desire to live fulfilled, as an elated woman
Complete, with love tangled always in my femininity
But not in this realm
I desire to be there, where life is said to be stable and fair!

So shall it be, boomed the skies
But first, you shall have to prove it
That worthy you are of such
You shall have to prove it
That genuine and true is your intent
Else, your reward shall be flopped!

I stowed away my wings
Fell on my knees,
Opened my palms wide,
Accepting the decree of the skies
As, what I am without their power,
If not a bird,
Trying to find its way back home in a typhoon!
