You Cause Me to Swim for Air

you cause me to swim for air

imposing myself on you
as i see
that we are forever
tongued twisted and tied

things are miraculous
running my fingers
right through the tip
of your hair,

i become drenched in
your aura;
as it consumes my very
essence

almost as if i was caught
in a undertow during a
great typhoon.
while the only way out
was to swim for air
