And So It Went

written by: Anne G

@TheInkTruth

And so it went -

a glance

you turned my head

a sound

my ear was bent

you stole my heart

without consent

And so it went -

the days and years

of laughs and tears

just like the ocean's

ebbs and flows

crests and falls

the highs the lows

And so it went -

I loved you best

we laughed and cried

we grew in days

and to the end

you kept my love

always and forever

the apple of my eye

Why write?

I write because I am:

Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.

My intention:To poke, prod and provoke!

"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
