Seldom have I experienced
Reality eclipsing fantasies
Secret wishes heeded
Sensibility sensing the untold,
Our glances spoke, a language
Of pretence playing nonchalant
Venturing chancing touches
Igniting shivers I tried to retain,
Flames in my chest deepened
My inhales, two drops on your neck
Enticed me, I ridded of capricious fancies
To savour the flavours of realness
The mélange exuding lust,
You brought a bottle of wine
I discerned notes of underwood
Feasting on a Florentine, a plate for two
Tempting me with virility you took me,
As if you did many times before,
Acquainted with my body you stroked
My most sensitive chords.
Palpitations in my dreams you always left
In the middle of the night
In reality you made coffee at dawn
And came back to bed.
While studying for my BA in Business Administration, at an American University in Rome, I further got enchanted by 19th century existential authors as well as European ‘absurdism’ and the Theatre of the Absurd.
It was only after my MBA that I started writing more seriously, giving space to my true passions. In recent years I have written two existential novels in Italian. In recent months I have started studing astrophysics and writing poems in english, which finally brings me here.
