Peter A. Witt lives in Texas, by chance, not choice. He is a retired university professor, twice nominated for Best of the Net. Writing poetry became a passion after retirement, supplying a chance to recover imagery and interesting writing, after the stultifying impact of academic publishing over a 43-year career. Peter and his wife travel extensively (all seven continents), especially to places that feature more wildlife and birds than people. Peter is an avid photographer and regularly gives illustrated talks about their travels.
