Blue Moon

There’s a bright blue moon that lights up the sky,
Each night it brings comfort and can even make you smile,
It’s something that demands your gaze.
It’s so bright and brings so much joy,
But it doesn’t allow you to see the dark side
Until it’s too late.
If only I had known about the dark side of the moon,
Perhaps then the light wouldn’t’ve disappeared so soon
I'm from Australia and I have been writing as a hobby since I was an early teenager. I enjoy writing literary short stories and poetry.
