Bowl of Cherries

Bowl of Cherries

written by: Tim Koza

She came in
Sat at the piano
Played
Knew well that I was there
Reading morning paper
Undisturbed – till now.

Hidden behind my embarrassment
And zeal to possess…
I had to remain a gentleman
Looked at the bowl full of cherries
Instead
Was it a right choice?
Time will tell.

Smell of the woman
Aroma,
Filled the room
Legs slightly open
Skirt just above pink apples – knees
I had to breathe
And keep my senses on a tight leash
Biting is forbidden among aristocracy.
Cherry in my mouth
And red mark on her neck.
