NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A stark black and white image. Black background scattered with white circles, three of which have lines stretching out from the top, bottom, left, and right. The haiku sits top and center in white “Comic Sans MS Bold” font, stretched vertically. Some of the lines from the circles (pulsars) are spaced in such a way that they frame the haiku. All the lines together create the impression of a small section of plaid.
