Crazy Talk

written by: Nick Searles

@Nick_Searles

Heard some chatter going 'round.
Your ideas make my head pound.
And the way you come across,
sounds like your meds have all been tossed.
I know to you it sounds like music.
But what I hear is blah, blah, blah.
Turn around & keep on squawking
and I'll turn off your crazy talking.
Crazy talk, there seems to be a lot of
Crazy talk.

Makes one want to bolt the train.
Makes one want to get on out and walk.
Don't know about you but I'm kinda done with crazy talk.

Life’s about a little bit of everything.
But if things went well you'd hafta pull the string.
Referring to your point of view:
Got to thinkin’ man, now there's a loose screw.
Diabolical diatribes, hate of some men.
Put that together and you’re a crazed red hen.
I think the umpire's gonna call a balk
because of all your crazy, crazy, crazy talk.
Crazy talk, there seems to be a lot of
Crazy talk.

Makes one want to bolt the train.
Makes one want to get on out and walk.
Don't know about you but I'm kinda done with crazy talk.

There are some people who can stand tall.
Then there's some guys who just live to crawl.
I'm not one who likes to fiddle.
I kinda like my stand in the middle.
So what you say is what you mean.
People look at you and won’t even waste a scream.
Conspiracy theory’s cramp up your brain.
If I were you I’d declare me insane.
Your head needs an outline of chalk.
I’m so gone from all this crazy talk.
