Crimson Bricks Tumbling Down

Crimson Bricks Tumbling Down

written by: O’Nika M

The weight we carry, light and airy like
a plume, a feather, oh contrary
heavy, crimson, red bricks laden
with pressure, stress building high
not letting up, we gasp
one brick at a time
remove each one
burdens less
exhale
aahhh!
