Crucify The Scarecrow

Crucify the scarecrow
For the deeds the crows have done
October’s breeze is blowing
We learn to fear the setting sun
When the dreaded moon is rising
That’s when the killer comes alive
A cornfield with an empty cross
A strawman roams the night.
