Dance this Last Dance

Dance this Last Dance

written by: Kenneth Vincent Walker

If only we would view
This world on a much
Grander scale rather
Than through a myopic
Veil obscuring the truth.

For within this old world
Is another world much
Lesser in value; a world
Revolving all around you
And all that that entails.

If only we could pursue a
Version that isn’t so easily
Corrupted to find a way of
Being more sympathetic,
Empathetic, less disruptive.

Then and only then may
We have half a chance to
Dance this last dance with
Our heads held high and
For future generations to

Survive the repercussions.
