Staring at the window,
Watching the autumn leaves fall from the tree,
Grasping on the pen,
With no sight of anger in mind,
Nor bitterness,
Nothing but a sense of relief and happiness,
As I realize what has taken place,
A heart that once had many scars,
And emptiness,
Is now fully grown from the scars,
That simply led to the way to what is now my new forever,
Something that I needed you to guide me to,
Every tear I shed because of you,
Was one step closer to him,
Every night that I would spend wondering if I was good enough
Was one step closer to him,
Losing you was the pathway to the person I now call my forever…
