If you are a shooting star
I am the milky way
If you are
A meteorite
I am your orbit
If you are
A celestial object
I am the cosmos
If you are star dust
I am the black hole
Of enlightenment
If you are a vacuum
I am the strings
Shaping up the universe
If you are a beam of light
I am a prism
And diffusing
Your rays
To the naked eye.

Hanna Abi Akl

Hanna Abi Akl writes contemporary poetry and prose. His writing style flows as an endless stream of consciousness, rarely if ever solidifying in rigid form. Some bits of his work have already materialized in novels and poetry books, while others remain hidden in the dark.
