Generations, a poem by Dean Robbins at Spillwords.com

Generations

Generations

written by: Dean Robbins

Old man on the beach,
Assateague, Virginia,
tells me why there are no
mosquitos on the beach.

“They spray with a bi-plane.
Flew one years ago…
not around here, though.”
Looks away. “No rain helps.”
