Ghostly Satire

voices stalked darkness
with footsteps
with whispers
on Halloween chaps decided
to declare war on apparitions
on invisible footsteps
on eerie echoes

tired of ghostly satire
colorful attire was bought
chaps wore clothes that sought
to give ghosts shivers
