NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An open book with off-white, lined pages, blank. A transparent thought balloon delineated with gestural black lines contains the words of the haiku in black Bickham Script Pro Regular font. The upper half of a phone in a seafoam green wallet case is visible on the right-hand side. A pair of green, hand-drawn cat’s eyes appear just above the top edge of the phone, a grin in white line art just below that over the dark phone screen. 5 small, brightly coloured, circular tablets are scattered below the grin in green, purple, red, turquoise, and golden yellow.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
