Gobekli Tepe

One monolithic stone
Placed atop another.
Dust of the ancients
With origins unknown
Buried inconspicuously.
Who are the architects
Of these precise and
Masonry creations?
Are there hidden texts
Crying to be deciphered,
Or silent to be left alone?
Gobekli Tepe, Turkey
Illuminates our sensations
Within this hidden zone
Of the world’s first temple.
Long before Stonehenge
And the Pyramids of Giza,
As well. A mind revelation
Protruding at the edges
As history sheds its shell
Leaving an astrological trail.
