Halloween Catku

written by: Patricia Carragon

@BrownstonePoets

black cat witches
fly over pumpkin patch
litter boxes

by haunted houses
black cats congregate
cauldron spells brewing

catlike apparitions
roam abandoned graveyards
meow at full moon

behind the tombstone
yellow eyes glow at midnight
black cat caterwauls

skeleton cats
x-rays in the moonlight
hiss at werewolves
