How Grey Wall

How Grey Wall

written by: Alan David Gould

The time is coming when the chaff shall shed
The fog of wheat sitting in rain soaked fields
growing out to a distinct perimeter
How grey wall is black and white?

Not, I finally realized
The gem was never the object
The idea of a me fully encapsulated
Thinking I was cold, when I simply ate warmth
in unfamiliar circumstances
yet all the while immersed in the liquid lavender of fireflies
vaguely illuminating the periphery of every dull moment
