Impressionism

Floating above a seafoam-green ocean
a tanned face painted in naturalism.
Light’s painted, colors that danced
around soft breast, smooth legs,
body immersed in impressionistic art.
Ascending from fuzzy waters
in a white wet transparent dress
will you frown if I paint you in realism?
Fhen M. is a poet from Borongan City, Philippines. In college, he studied the academic subject The Literature of the Philippines under the tutelage of a literature professor who completed her degree program at the Divine Word University. Three of his poems were published in Poetica anthology series. He had been a writing fellow at the 4th and 5th Lamiraw Creative Writing Workshops.
