Keep them with you, when they are gone

Write their names on the turbulent waters
Scribble the letters with blood from your hearts
They’re gone and left your soul in tatters
With an open wound that will forever smart
Look for them where they cannot be found
Never stop searching, don’t give up
Feel their presence in the sky and on the ground,
In the earth beneath you, and the clouds above
See their smiles in the blossoming flowers
Hear their voices in a summer breeze
Feel their touch under rain showers
Each rain drop is their parting kiss.
