Beautiful genius,
she hates a fuss.

Hard edge,
protects a heart of gold.

“Awards are dumb”
she told a tired world.

The United States,
as we know it,
will cease to exist.

Years after,
kids will attend schools,
bearing her name.

Just a man from northern California, living on a beautiful acre of high desert I call Goose Ridge.
