Liquid Diamonds

written by: huntersjames

Escaping. Traffic,
The city, and of course me,
Sweet peaceful quiet.

In this dry silence,
God roared his liquid whispers,
Loving quietly.

Woke him from his nap,
Light sleeper of his desert,
His name, coyote.

Shimmering my eyes,
What is this light, a mirage?
Leaves me shivering.
