Love From A Heart

written by: Ron Kempton

A poem for Emily Dickinson,
love lost to time and a hiding place for my heart

I shared the dawn with Emily
cinnamon cakes and Earl Grey tea
I read her the morning paper
mentioned her reclusive nature
...I didn't want to leave.
