Desire conflicting reason
Taste my mind of your heavenly nectar
Eating hungrily on my constitution, one chromosome, an explosion of critique
Breath is judgment, beating witness
Masked desires, a window to my soul
Imagination, my composer mistaken, another player shooting our doll’s house
Growing pains me in torturous crescendo
Dreams of the deep blue and paradise pleasures
I am real although a cheap fake and you are neither
What am I? Is want the question and if so, am I the answer?
Are we separate beings joined by a nervous twitch?
Our masterpiece increases in value until consumed, when poverty prevails
Angels’ spawn in devil’s pool as beautiful as DNA
I am a man confused and concerned with humanity. My life has been diverse as a child of trauma leading to criminality, substance abuse and custody, before a transition into helping and supporting others in my work as a youth justice officer, and advocate for human change, and ownership, and responsibility.
