Mirror in The Attic

Mirror in The Attic

written by: the hairy bum welder

In this ghostly
attic
My reflection looks back
Blinks
My eyes wide open
As peer beyond
My own
reflection
in this ancient mirror

Do I see the souls
Of long dead
Reflections
Within the mirror
Or do they stand
With me
Around me

Buried behind bricks
Entrapped within
These walls
Reflection of me
In the window
To their tomb

My reflection
Blinks
Am I trapped
There too
imprisoned in the
cracks

Am I within these
Walls
Is this attic
My tomb
Does this mirror
Bind me
Too
