My Story Isn't Over Yet

written by: Tylia Flores

Staring at my reflections,
sitting in the chair I use as my legs,
looking into the mirror,
saying to myself I am magnificent, forceful, original,
Your Story isn't over yet,
Despite everything I've gone through,
with my scars and all,
my story isn't over yet,
even if I only get 8 hours of sleep due to body
I was given that causes me so much pain,
my story isn't over yet
so I'm going to keep going,
and turn the pages of the chapters of my life,
cause my story isn't over yet,
