Night and Day

I
No more did the flamed,
Fields fire the skies
Of distance darkness,
Smoked shadows had
Hidden the half moon.
II
Alone with the rising sun,
I breathe out the frosted,
Breath of a cold morning.
Caught in shivers,
By the dewy cobwebs.
