Often Lost

written by: Jackson Thomas

I found a home
I know not where

It moves about
From here to there

It's lost at times
To winds and pain

To many clouds
Above the rain

Lost in myself
These times are rough

We see the change
Forfeit to slough

But moments gained
Are all I need

To find the joy
Of life indeed

True ecstasy
Means thought engaged

Focus and touch
Effort restaged

I leave behind
That cheapened blight

To bath among
This just delight
