Just “One Word” Away (“Heart”)

One word becomes one idea, becomes one sentence, becomes one poem, becomes one story. It must start from just “one word”. Today my one word is “Heart”.

HEART

Did you know your “heart” is an emotional bank? It is not rich in money, but rich in love. You control all of the deposits and withdrawals to your heart. You may incur penalties and humongous fees from many of those deposits and withdrawals, or you may prosper greatly from some great investments. Remember – You control your heart, you are your own account holder, your own wealthy advisor, and the sole beneficiary to your “emotional bank”. When it comes to matters of the heart, choose wisely in order to ensure a great return on your investments.

HEART

A rich “heart”, a poor “heart”
An emotional bank of love
A strong “heart”, a weak “heart”
Trends climb and fall from above
No monetary claims allowed
Only pure emotions well-endowed

Emotions deposited,
Some withdrawn,
A love bank opened
From dusk ‘til dawn
Through day, through night
Through magical twilight
Huge fees of woe
Investments rise and grow

But you control your vibrant heart
And you select your counterpart
You are the keeper of
your bank
Show emotional smarts
Be strong, be swank

An account holder so proud and true
A wealthy advisor
Tactful or taboo?
It’s your emotional bank
You’ll know what to do
And the sole beneficiary
Is none other than you

So when it comes to matters
of a loving heart
Stand tall and project your “strong” voice – – –
Gain solid returns
With percentages high
from investments of a “wise” choice

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Your heart is your “emotional bank”. When it comes to matters of the heart, choose wisely in order to ensure a great return on your investments.
