Please Don’t

Please Don’t

written by: Yasleh Hani Wati Mat Yassin

Please don’t tell me you’re hurting, cause tonight I’m not strong enough to deal with your pain.
Please don’t look at me with sorrow in your eyes, cause right now all it does is tear me apart.
I am sorry that I am unable to withstand your grief at the moment, cause I am tormented enough watching you fall apart.
I’ll try to be better for you tomorrow, but please spare me your agony for just this instance.
Let me collect myself and tomorrow, tomorrow I will be back to being the rock you’ve always known.
Just let me have this moment when I don’t have to cry for the worries that weigh you down.

I have been writing ever since I first knew how to and haven't stopped since. I love the written words passionately. To me words are my panacea. I feel the worst when I cannot write and that is my biggest fear; that someday words will fail to come to me completely. My deepest wish is to have a successful writing career but right now that is still a mere dream.
