Qabarasthani

Qabarasthani

(Citizen of a Cemetery)

written by: Charlie Bottle

I named my tombstones,
Life and Destiny,
then, wrapped them in the shroud
of insults, I received.
On Life, I chiseled
“I am Love without shadows
I am sunshine without clouds.”
And on Destiny, I chiseled,
“I cannot be measured
by what I was,
or what I became,
I am Love forever.”
