before the night shadows flee
and the dawn breeze touches the trees
Enter my bedroom –
before the enchantment of the late evening stars
fades and vanishes beyond the horizon
Fall into my arms–
before the last rays of the moon
whisper our secrets to the sunrise
Stay here with me–
before the birds herald the morning
and daylight pulls us apart
Return to me
and we can abide in fleeting darkness,
awake inside this dream.
